Oh dear, been banned from using Lovefilm. Contacted them and they said as I ahd used their trial offer a number of times, anyone from my address was banned from any free trials. Should I sign up, I will be charged as if I had gone on their normal contract. Any suggestions please

It's not a free trial is it? You have to pay min £4 a month.

I tried this and got knocked back because of previous lovefilm free trials. Emailed them and said I don't care about missing out on the free trial, could I still get the points though if I paid for 3 months (as per the offer).

guy emailed me back (don't think he really understood) but said if you pre-pay for 6/12 months you can also get 1000 points. I was looking to sign up long term anyway (was going to do LoveFilm but tesco is cheaper :j) so I signed up for 6 months, got 1000 points and 20% off the fees (6 months was just over £19). So it's actually a better deal for me than the original :T

You get 25% off fees (plus 1000 points) if you pre-pay for 12 months.

Yeah but you get 2 weeks free, they call it a free trial on the tesco site. I'm happy to pay for the first three months if I get bonus clubcard points, should really check with tesco first I suppose.

Sounds like this might suit me too as I have already tried all the free trials around. Is the offer on the site or do I need to email them and ask?

From the email:

I can confirm that should you go to the website
www.tesco.com/febprepay1000 you will then be asked to sign into
your account. Once you have signed in you will be given the option to
pre-pay for 6 or 12 months and you will be able receive 1000 points.

I think you have to register first though.

I joined Tesco DVD club before Christmas, after having left Lovefilm. I knew I wouldn't get the 14 days free trial, but I hoped that I would get the 1000 points, after my 3rd payment. Sure enough, I went to Tesco today and the 1000 points is on my receipt!:j

I've just pre-paid for the next 6 months, to earn another 750 points:D

I've got loads of clubcard voucher to use by the end of today! Quick question. I'm thinking of booking a hotel break but haven't decided where or which hotel chain. Do I have to order the vouchers for a specific hotel group or are the vouchers generic and can be used for all groups?
