LloydsTSB Business Banking Refund how to calculate compensation?

I hope someone may be able to advise. I have already called the banking ombudsman to no avail.
We moved to Lloyds with 2 business and 1 property management account, when the accounts were set up the correct interest charge was not applied and so for 18 months we were charged the emergency interest rate.
5 bank managers later and a refund of £50,000 later we are coming to the end of the matter and our accountant says we should hold our latest meeting over this matter with our bank manager with a figure in mind to request for compensation. But I do not know what that figure should be.
I want to be reasonable but also do not want to ask for a lower figure than I would be entitled to. Has anyone been through an experience like this or aware of a percentage calculation that banks work to?
By the way anyone who ever thinks of going to Lloyds for business banking - don't they are a complete nightmare, 2 months ago I sent them a payment of £13k for our Lloyds corporate credit card and now 2 and a half months later they still can't find it even though my business banking manager has emailed them stating it has been cleared by them etc and so our cards are on stop we have had so many problems the list would be endless .....
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give
