Wireless Linking of networks

Hi,
Just need a bit of advice as to the best bit of kit to buy.
I have a wireless network for the laptop, which has a wired ethernet printer and desktop on it.
I want to move the computer and printer to another room, where there are no cables.
What is the best wireless device to buy that can link into this new mini ethernet network and connect to the wireless network.
I have considered a USB wireless hub, but don't want to turn the computer on everytime I want to print! I do have an old Wireless hub, but it obviously can't operate in the correct mode to connect to the existing wireless setup!
So anyone had experience before I shell out on a wireless hub that won't operate in the correct mode?
Thanks.

You might want to consider powerline networking, do a google search. That will be easier to set up than a wireless bridge. I think, however, that a wireless bridge set-up might be reasonably expensive, probably more so than a pair of powerline adapters, which should also be faster.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

- Cheap powerline networking: £30-£50
- Expensive powerline networking: £120
- Wireless access point: £25-£50
- Ethernet cable: £9 for 30m, less if you make your own.
