HSBC pin number

Hi,
I received my new HSBC debit card through the post today and I am still waiting on the pin number to come through. Anybody know how long it takes for the HSBC pin number to come through? I really don't understand why they send the card first and then the pin since you can't do f' all without the pin apart from on the net. Grrrr.

From memory it took about 7 working days for my PIN to arrive.
(and to point out the obvious: you can do f'all with the PIN without the card!)Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

7 working days. that seems like a very long time considering they got the new card here in just 2.0
