went for O2 PAYG dongle... £30 to buy dongle and £15 a month... but £44 cashback thru quidco... was funny, i was on the phone to O2 and almost at the point of paying for it on the phone when my brain went "quidco! quidco! check quidco!" so i stalled a bit and found it quickly, said to the guys, sorry actually i've found the same item can get me cashback thru quidco, so i'm not going to buy it after all... i'll get it online.

I think he was a bit miffed..! do they get commision?

i didn't understand a word of that kayleigh.... but here, have a hug anyways, (((((hug))))) sounds like a nightmare!!!

Fair enough. :D Tbh, I'd stopped mentioning the essays because I was worried I was boring people senseless with them. Basically, I've got a lot of essays to write over the summer. Some of them are half or nearly done already but they're on a CD in a box from when I moved house three weeks ago. The one I'm working on at the moment is the biggest of the lot (3000 words  ) and includes a section on a scholar called Malinowski. I think I've got until 21st August to write 7 essays. I've now added them to my signature to try and motivate me.

I've got a real craving for a baked potato so I'll go see if the foodhall is open. I guess I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.

Morning all! Not been on for a while! and not doing too well either! You are all so motivated this morning - lists and all that! So I'm going to take a leaf out of your books if that's ok?

1- clean out and feed smelly puppies
2- Washing - might have to use dryer it's pouring here!
3- Do at least a little of my Uni assignment!
4- Try to entertain kids with something fun that doesn't cost much and doesn't involve being outside - see 2!!
5- Get DD 1 to do a little ironing (no mean feat she is 17!)
    6- Cook dinner
    7- Go to gym

the list goes on .... and on.... see that is why i hate doing lists! it's so depressing!

No worries Maz- I always enjoy getting cards..believe it or not, that was the only pic I had with me on it (unless you count the one where I'm looking like a beached whale wearing a lime green bikini-and I wasn't sending you that! Too scary!), I guess cos I'm usually taking the pics, I'm rarely on them! Still at least you can put a face to DD,DS and DH now!
Speaking of broken down white goods, there is an excellent forum-something like Whitegoods.co.uk, where you can post describing the symptoms of your dodgy appliance, and repair men to tell you what it's likely to be,if it's DIY-able etc....I've used it a few times for dishwasher and washing machine, they were spot on the their advice and DH managed to do the jobs at home using their tips....worth a try anyway..
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
