SMA for healthcare profressionals - help required

I am due to be studying physiotherapy come September entrying at year one.

I have applied for my funding and recieved a loan for living costs for SLC, my tuition fees from SLC and a SMA for healthcare profressionals, is this a bursary? I have been given details in my award notice on when im getting my loan for living costs but nothing but when ill get my SMA, can anyone enlightin me on what to expect from this?

I have no idea - but if you're looking to become a healthcare professional just be aware of the correct spelling of it or it's not going to look good on you. Just some friendly advice

Don't be a complete moron.

The OP spelled it incorrectly twice - which would indicate that's how they think it's actually spelled. Anyone who is trying to gain employment in a particular field needs to know how to spell it correctly or they are just setting themselves up for embarrassing rejections.

If you can't say anything constructive, then don't bother. I doubt anyone much will care either way.

If you are going to be studying physio, you should only get a reduced rate loan from SLC (about £2500). You should also have applied to the NHS for the NHS bursary of £2810 and the NHS should be paying your fees. I think you may have the wrong funding from the SLC. I think you should contact the uni you hope to study with and talk to someone from student services about the funding you should be applying for & receiving.
