How I would go abot getting an Army service record?? Or if it is even possible?? My grandfather passed away in the early 80's and we would like to see his service record if possible. My mother and her 3 siblings were all born of diffrent bases thruout the world butother than that they don't really know where they have been and brought up.
I know he was in the Royal Artillery. and based in Germany in the early 50's.
Anybody have advice on where to start or if it is even possible?
