How to answer when potential buyers ask if I've had any offers

That's so very English - "rude" because they ask direct questions about a deal that's going to be the biggest expenditure of their lives? How very vulgar of them to want to talk about money...................... :rotfl:If you are concerned about that question, best to prepare for more challenging ones like "what is the minimum price you will accept?" People can be very rude....
I'd agree with you that if you can't handle it refer all such queries to your EA.
OP - you could just say that there has been plenty of interest and you will be asking the EA to update you on offers at the end of the week.0 -

too true! It is a question I always ask particularly in Scotland with the o/o system as some people price their houses low to get interest but really expect a lot more than this. I don't think it is a rude question as it allows the prospective buyer to see if they can afford the property and reduces any timewasting. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Of course the question is not "rude"
I used that as an example of the type of question that OP should anticipate
People can be very rude.... just like those on internet forums. :rotfl:"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
