Price Difference

Options
Hi,

I recently purchased a new sofa from Argos online 9 days ago for £350. Having looked online today it has now been reduced to £240. Having contacted Argos they said they would honour the lower price but I would only receive the difference after I had received my goods. Should I take their word for this as I believe that if I cancelled and re-ordered the sofa I am within my rights as it has been less than 14 days since I ordered.

Has anybody had a similar experience with Argos

Many thanks for your advice in advance

Argos Direct will honour it, but as they said you will have to wait until you receive the sofa. Ask them to make sure there is a note on your order about it.

You can cancel if you want but then you run the risk of not being able to reorder it because it may become out of stock - by the sound of it this sofa is 'running out' (R.O) so once stock is gone it's gone.
