Can anybody tell me how to make those gorgeous sticky cakes you get in places like Greece and Sicily ? Very sticky, lots of honey ...and they add spices like cinnamon or nuts in...Anybody know what I'm wittering about LOL

Just imagine that sweet sticky honey-nut baklava taste but with a shredded wheat type textured pastry....

Anyone who can eat that katafi thing must have a seriously sweet tooth -I tried that in Kefalonia and it made my teeth scream for mercy :rotfl:whilst my mum sat there smacking her lips as she demolished hers

Yep, also try yalaktobouriko so yummy. I've made baklava pretty successfully (my dad's greek). Make sure they don't turn out too dry! :S I hate dry baklava lol :P 0
