Mediterranean Style

Can anybody tell me how to make those gorgeous sticky cakes you get in places like Greece and Sicily ? Very sticky, lots of honey ...and they add spices like cinnamon or nuts in...Anybody know what I'm wittering about LOL

    Baklava :confused: They are verrrrrrrrrrrrry sugarry - I'm getting a headach just thinking of them :o Loads of recipes on Google :D

    Anyone who can eat that katafi thing must have a seriously sweet tooth -I tried that in Kefalonia and it made my teeth scream for mercy :rotfl:whilst my mum sat there smacking her lips as she demolished hers :p... whats that other thing..ekkmekk or something like that....off to look it up as its another one my mum loved

    Yep, also try yalaktobouriko :D so yummy. I've made baklava pretty successfully (my dad's greek). Make sure they don't turn out too dry! :S I hate dry baklava lol :P
