Egg's automated fraud detection system... are other cards as bad?

What card company do you work for if you dont mind me asking?

Is the system not set-up to stop loss of the banks money and hence shareholders, as a customer would be refunded for fraud.

I think stating fraudsters try to make it look genuine and you would have to pay it out is an attempt at scaring people into beleiving this is all for their benefit.

I appreciate costs often eventually get passed on to the customer somehow, I take it this will be your arguement.
