Got a refund but being charged Vanquis

Hi all,

I need some advice please. I made a purchase using my Vanquis card but didn't want the product so sent it back and got a (prompt) refund.
My Vanquis statement has just arrived and it doesn't show any refund.
What's the best course of action?
Anyone have a similar experience to this?

Maybe it missed your billing cycle and will appear on your next bill? If you have online access then check (give 3-4 working days for the refund to show up).

Check your statement online and watch for the refund going on to clear the balance. If it doesn't appear a week before your payment due date then pay the statement balance to ensure you don't get charged interest. When the refund does show it'd then put you in credit.

you will be better off ringing them, vanquis dont have online servicing

Refunds usually appear within 4 working days.

It is unfortunate that Vanquis do not offer online banking, but I would call them every day to check if the refund has appeared. If it has not appeared within a week, then I would chase the retailer and tell them that the funds have not been received.
