Have Sky Talk - Cheapest way to call 0871?

I have Sky Talk (basic package) with line rental through BT. What is the cheapest way of calling 0871 numbers (and 0844 for that matter)?

I was trying to route them through 18185 but they don't appear to accept them. Are there any other override providers other than routing the calls direct through Sky (and paying the costs:eek:)?

The best way to call 0844 and 0871 will be via BT other suppliers can and do charge more to call them EG. Virgin Media. Their are no suppliers that offer cheaper calls to 0844/0871 then BT does.

Unfortunately you cant use the BT 1280 override to hop back to BT as the system sky uses does not allow it.

If your using 0871 to make cheap calls consider a service that offers geographical/ or freephone access.

PS. Its possible that SKY charge the same as BT anyway to call 0844/0871.
