Washer Dryer faulty, where do I stand?

I have Indesit popping around today to visit me for the umpteenth time about a washer dryer I purchased via Boots Kitchen Appliances in February. I think this may be the 6th time someone has been out in 5 months of owning it.
The washer works perfectly, but the dryer keeps going, the heating element fails. I either get no heat at all, or it just becomes an F13 fault (turns itself off).
I am quite willing to allow them to fix it again today, but when (I have lost all confidence!) it goes again, can I just demand a refund? As I say this has been going on since it was delivered on 13th February (I should have known lol!). I paid on Mastercard, so will this offer me more rights.
The last engineer who came out seemed to suggest that Indesit will do anything to avoid giving people refunds!

the remedies are repair/replace/refund (can be partial) and they run in that order.
if the repair fails again, your more likely to succeed if you pursue a replacement rather than a refund.0
