Ah don't listen to them, what do they know! Never let someone upset you over the internet. It's cyber-reality and doesn't count in real life, so don't let yourself feel real feelings.
As for the necklace, I can't seem to find any other than what people have already mentioned, Argos and eBay. I've made bespoke necklaces like this before and have always been able to get the charms but my suppliers are all out!0 -
I've seen quite a few of this type around. There are many that are made for you to split apart yourself, which could be quite nice.
I have found one here: http://www.engravedgiftsonline.co.uk/split-heart-pendant-silver-with-2-chains-ref-sshp-86-p.asp
Which is a good place as they can engrave them for you if you would like.
I am not sure on your budget but if you google "Split heart pendant" then it comes up with others.
I hope things get better for you soon. :grouphug::starmod: :starmod: :starmod: "Live like you mean it, Love 'til you feel it" :starmod: :starmod: :starmod:- The Goo Goo Dolls0 -

I tried but they were really quite callous. Thank god for lovely board guides who locked the thread and deleted that persons posts from it, so now I can just look at the good ones.
I've started looking on craft supply sites like hobbycraft and the like but they don't see to have much. Bad timing on my part I suppose. But I haave a month to get hold of it, can't send anything at the moment as it isn't allowed.I've seen quite a few of this type around. Just had a look at that one, if I save up a bit more money that could be a possible. But as I have a month I will stick it into my favourites as something cheaper may come along. I don't mind making my own as I have the cord and findings and chains.
God it's a month before my birthday, I should be looking forward to and planning that, not doing all this. Life can be so very fun at times. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Been sifting through eBay for the last hour trying to keep busy, seems US ebay is better than UK for these. Any thoughts on this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sterling-Silver-heart-pendant-charm-love-splits-15mm_W0QQitemZ360171442140QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item53dbe40fdc&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A2%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
It looks quite pretty though I just have to figure out the size of it, plus they combine postage so it's $4.99 no matter how much you buy so i was thinking of getting two of these:

But I'm not sure if 16" is the right length for a guys, maybe I need a different size chain for him than me.The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. That one looks good. At 15mm I would imagine it would be quite small, but that could be part of the appeal of it. You want something for the two of you to share, not so much something that will be flashed around for everyone to see, right? I would have said that the 16" chain would be too short for guys. You could always consider a leather cord for him (slightly more masculine perhaps) or even for you if it fits with your fashion style. I have a few pendants that I wear on cord rather than on a chain.
Let me know what you decide to do. x:starmod: :starmod: :starmod: "Live like you mean it, Love 'til you feel it" :starmod: :starmod: :starmod:- The Goo Goo Dolls0 -

15mm definitely appeals, like you said it is for us not others to see. And most importantly, his sgts won't see it under his uniform no matter what. Sneaky but the only way it seems.
Yes I just measured my favourite chain at it's 16" so i think i'm going to have to look at longer ones. They have a nice one that's 18" but maybe I should be safe and go with a 20". I would use cord but that would probably show up more than a chain which would be disguised by his dogtag chain anyway, though I will be putting in a seperate cord one for it too when I send it (Mainly because he has an extrordinary habit of breaking everything he touches).
Ah I don't know, for now I'll order the pendant and the chain and whilst I'm waiting for the order to be combined I can decide on the final chain.
Have to say though, I do love the ebay store that those came from, they have a lot of very nice jewellery making gear, gorgeous charms. May have to go back there sometime and order more, at $4.99 flat rate postage it isn't a fortune to do.
You've just reminded me I should dig out my cord and findings whilst I think about it and give making a basic cord chain a try. I'm awful with the findings, they're so fiddley. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Sounds like a good plan.
I hope he likes it
Good luck with everything, I'm sending you both my best wishes.
