lol my manager has told us that if any of the asian chaps that buy all the £49.99 phones tick the 20p 'charity' box or buy a lightbulb ,battery etc to get a voucher ,then we can sorry buddy no voucher for you
under the t+c the offer can be refused for any reason at any time without warning or something....
Quite frankly that's a disgrace.
Firstly, in the spirit of the offer they're already spending damn near to £50, secondly it's blatantly racist.
If any manager at my work were to even suggest this they'd be getting a written warning at the very least.
Didn't you make a comment at the time?
Cheers

You really shouldn't have posted this, regardless if it's true or not, besides anyone with half a brain, if they were refused the voucher would cancel the transaction, and either pay at the quick pay kiosk or go to another branch.0 -

Personally, I would be embarrassed to even hear some pleb of a manager telling me that (And I would certainly take issue with it), but you would appear to find it amusing, hence you posting it on here. Sad.0 -
If you buy £100 gift vouchers do you still get the £10 free voucher?
If you spend £100 gift vouchers do you still get the £10 free one?
