have an account with mbna which originally was hbos.mbna are stating that ppi was selected at time of completion of application form with hbos so therefore they are not refunding.who do i approach for copy of cca.help!after 8wks mbna are going to close complaint and as it stands i am at the 6wk period.thanks

    Hi There if you write to them and send £1.00 they should send you an original copy of the CCA I believe within 12 days. They probably had a pre ticked box on the application form.

    When you write for the CCA then inform them that you are not satisfied with the reply and do not close the account and you are willing to take it to the FOS if if cannot be sorted beforehand.

    Hope that helps if you need any more help post up and somebody will help out. Just do not be put off by them the letters are usually bog standard cover all situation letters.

    I would think if it was taken over by MBNA they should have had all the details passed over.
