    hi daisy

her comping guide gives us all the info we need icon7.gif

    ..

7 What happens if my prize doesn't turn up?

I don't think what i meant to say came across properly :o
I know who to contact & what to do do if a prize doesn't turn up. What i was trying to say was that to be aware that when enter the daily stars comps that in general you aren't informed when you win which is why i suggested reading the winners list on loquax. If you don't know you've won..... you can't chase it up when it doesn't arrive within 28 days.

    I won, I won, I won!
Sunday Post (am doing for ppd today)

    £1,000 back to school bonanza..

It may still be the height of the school summer holidays, but they’ll be coming to an end before you know it, and we have the perfect prize to help kit out your little monsters for the new term — £1,000 to spend on all the school gear they need,

Alternatively you could splash out on a new laptop so they can shine in class projects, and throw in some stationery, too..

Whatever you choose to spend the £1,000 on you can be sure Junior will give you full marks when they see their new gear,

And don’t worry if you don’t have any children at school to lavish the money on — you can claim the prize in £1,000 cash if you prefer and spend it on whatever you like...
    Complete this well-known phrase
    school of hard ..

    a) Cheese
    b) Hats
    c) Knocks

text ... SPCOMP followed by a space then your answer, name and address to 83070 .. texts cost 50p + s/n/r

call .. competition line on 090 125 000 ... calls cost no more than 50p & it only takes around 30 seconds to leave your details

(You cannot enter by post or email, employees of DC Thomson Ltd may not enter, a winner will be selected at random from all entries received by 9 am on Friday, July 31)
    Good Luck :j

This is a valid point as I won with the Star 5 months ago and have been chasing for months about this! They are notorious for being irregular at sending out prizes - though having said that they do have some fab prizes. So worth entering its just to make peeps aware that you quite often have to pester to get the prize.;)

The Telegraph is offering one lucky reader the chance to win an Azur Picnic Backpack, a stylish and practical four-person picnic backpack that is easy to carry and comprehensively equipped, as well as £50 to spend on delicious picnic food at Waitrose.

To be in with a chance of winning this great summer prize, simply complete this Italian phrase used to describe a meal eaten outdoors:
    Al _ _ _ _ _

    Fresco :D - Thanks Lislou

Your right! Sorry guys. They talk about Al Dente in the article text, and I just assumed that was the answer without thinking, plus it fitted the number of blanks!
