Have you got a Boots? They have caustic soda in the household section. Might even be worth asking the pharmacy section in Tesco if they do it.0

We had a similar problem a couple of months back. We unscrewed the bottom of the standpipe and took it apart and cleaned it but that didn't change anything. We then used some drain and sink unblocker (think it's called Kil Unblok - got it from Robert Dyas) and made sure the waste pipe was as far down the standpipe as it could be and this seemed to sort the problem out. We still have a plastic pot under the bend but so far no leaks.0

Had the same problem....floor soaked after every wash. Slightly different in that I can see the outlet pipe where it comes out the property into the drain. Ended up sticking a hosepipe up from the "drain end" and again from the other (washing machine) end.......the amount of gunk that came out......pleased to report no problems since...fingers crossed. Perhaps you could stick some type of flexible pipe cleaner down to physically clear the blockage if the chemical option doesn't work? Don't know if it will reach down far enough?0
