Mel (((((hugs))))) it must be something in the air coz my OH is being a p***k and that is a word I rarely use
It is a fab word though isn't it!!!
Forgot to say - when I was out yesterday hubby had the boys (first big baby-sitting session for daddy) and he sent me a pic message of him with Benjamin asleep on his chest saying 'It's easy isn't it?'
His mom called him a cheeky little b00ger :rotfl::rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
.. Been talking to James and he's been telling me how he's going to buy a flat or small house in our village as he'd like to move out and be independant but he doesn't want to be too far from home. He's going to let Charlotte go round for her tea some days. He's 10
When I was little, I used to sit with a big mail order catalogue and the Argos book and pick out everything I'd need to furnish a house.. Used to be convinced I could do it all for £1k, which oddly I didn't think was that much although I had no idea!
Strange as we worked out the running total of the work done to the house so far, and it's ten times that plus the kitchen.. :cool:0 -

LOL - when I was that age I used to tell my mum and dad that when I moved out I was going to build them a granny flat at the bottom of my garden because I never wanted to be away from them!!
I moved out at 18 to go to uni and haven't spent more than 3 days within an hours drive of them since!!
When we moved to this house and they saw that we have a massive garden and a field out back they were asking when the building was going to start :eek:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I have promised myself an early night tonight as I keep going to bed about midnight and Kai wakes about 6am or just before so I am living on less than 6hrs sleep every night, which isn't good. Dh tells me to go back to bed but I feel groggy for the whole day if I do that.
But I just can't be bothered to move from my lovely comfy chair I have nearly finished my glass of wine and as there is no more I will go to bed onceglass is empty:DUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

For the amount of work you seem to have had done I am sure you could have knocked the house down and rebuilt it quicker

I have read back but forgot to multi-quote...now I can't remember what I wanted to say...doesn't help that I am on my 3rd Huuueg glass of wine (which means I have drunk the whole bottle!!!)
I have had a crap 2 days, big rows and nearly divorce...how did it start you may wonder....over a pie:rotfl: Anyway turns out we are more or less staying together because of the kids, we will also try and rekindle something, but not sure what as I can't stand the sight of him at the moment. He is now being stupidly over the top nice, and all I really want is for him to not blow up and shout and swear at everyone ALL the flaming time
I have arranged to meet up with a mum I met about 4mths ago through another site;) We are meeting on Thursday at the pub for lunch and I have invited another mum along too who I met on a different site and it turns out she lives a stones throw away from me:D I have also met her already (vaguely) as she comes into the chemist where I work:D
Sorry for the long post I am tispy

When I was 16, I applied for a student placement in the hospital laboratories. It was a two year contract, and I would have been working in the labs part time and at college part time. I think the wage was something like £5K a year, and I was convinced I could get a student bedsit or house share and move out on that.
I didn't get the hospital job and ended up on a YTS scheme in Vaux Breweries lab instead but they only paid the minimum which was about £20 a weekHere I go again on my own....0
