Performance Jigsaw

Hi Guys - I've just been given a Performance fmtc 500js jigsaw without the manual. I'm anxious to trace one down and also some new blades
A quick check on the internet suggested this is a B&Q product but I can't seem to find a manual for it - B&Q have awful customer service!! Anyway does anyone know of where I can lay my hands on a manual
Also spare blades. Do they have to be performance or will other types do.
Thanks for any advice
Kevin

If I remember correctly it's just the normal universal blades that fit this, like these ones at screwfix, certainly they fitted the performance jigsaw I had a while back, in fact if I remember correctly so did the bayonet type, but you are probably best going for universal

Hi again, just found out I still have that jigsaw, (with the plate off it,something went wrong when I was using it, can't remember what, I meant to get around to fixing it but never did) I still have the box and on the picture it definitely takes the bayonet type like these ones

I also have the manual (it doesn't tell you what type of blades it takes) you do know you need a small hex key to remove/replace blade?
I could send you the manual if you wish or scan and send by email, let me know if you want me to do this, it may take a day or so though, it's holiday Monday in Glasgow and i'm off out for the day shortly0 -
Great reply did2s - I'm sending you a private message.0
