marbles repayment cover

I am new to this so apologies if I'm repeating an issue that has been discussed before.
I have had a marbles card for some time and was reasonably ok with rates etc. But since change to Aviemore (Bank of Scotland?) and I think, St Andrews insurance I am being charged repayment cover which had not appeared prior to this change. Due to some family illness I hadn't looked too closely until recently. My queries are can I cancel this and am I entitled to claim back the amounts they have charged since March?
Thank you to anyone able to help.

How did you get the insurance in the first place?
IMO you can cancel at any time but claiming back premiums paid will be difficult unless you were duped or missold the insurance in the first place.0 -
Before March PPI was taken each month - I do not recall agreeing to it but I have had the card for a few years. But now instead there is 'Repayments cover' which is greater and taken on a different date.0

Then you either ticked a box to say that you wanted it or you did not tick a box to say that you did not want it. If this is not the case did you get any telephone calls offering free cover for x amount of days - they rely on you not cancelling before you are due to start paying?
Anyway you can cancel from now but it will be a !!!!!! to reclaim premiums already paid.0
