Copied to new thread as well :)

    Evening everyone :)

Sorry for not letting you all know that I had my Tamiflu on Thursday evening. Unfortunately we didn't get back until late/early Friday morning.

DH was an absolute darling, even after my moaning about and to him, and drove the 40 mile round trip to the collection point.

I took it as soon as I got home and also some cold and flu stuff that the Dr recommended. Unfortunately that knocked me out for the count that night. The next morning I felt like slightly better and was actually bored, so rang everyone I could think of to talk too. But unfortunately that then knocked me out so I fell asleep on the sofa.. I must admit that the Tamiflu did alleviate the symptems considerably although the sweats were horrible. I also got the nausea and headache side effects, but nothing major and I could handle them. But boy do I wish my Dr had prescribed this when I was diagnosed originally..although I did find out that we don't have any in our health area - Great!!! So what on earth are those in our area doing if they need this drug..probably being told they don't need it.

Sadly I have been quarantined until Tuesday again..which will be 10 days quarantine..ugh!! But I was a bad girl today..lol

I have been sleeping a lot since Friday, and getting major sweats. Thankfully these seemed to have eased today, and I was actually up at a reasonable time and did a little bit of ironing.

We did go out to a family gathering in Sussex, which I could have done without but as I wasn't contagious we decided to go for it. But I was very diligent and as the people we were seeing were over 70 (as in MIL and FIL, and Aunty and Uncle-in-law) then we thought that things would be okay. Wish I hadn't gone now as I spent nearly all day drinking water on and off, I didn't eat a lot for dinner or tea, and fell asleep in the afternoon for half hour. I was also very vague and kept getting the sweats something bad.!!

Anyway I am home now, I shall be going to bed shortly and having another rest day tomorrow - my house isn't looking too bad but the ironing pile has grown into two huge mountains now..lol But that will be done in dribs and drabs over the week, as and when I feel up to it.

Thank you to Frodders for the text this evening, sorry I didn't get back to you. I have only just turned the phone on and got your message, and thought it would be too late to reply back to you. But thank you so much for thinking of me.. And thank you to Helenjelly for the pm :)

I promise you guys I won't disappear without somehow getting a message to you one way or t'other as to what has happened, so I don't worry you all again :)

I can find when I rejoined in April 2007 but can't find any of the older thread from October 2006 when I know I was flying before we went to New England. Maybe they have been deleted?

Soappie... I've been through two wardrobes, and have two piles - one of stuff that I can definitely fling, and one of stuff I need to try on - so I think I've finished Thursday, even if I will still have to spent quite a while sorting through the remainder of my clothing... which luckily doesn't live in the wardrobe :p

    1. Wash windows

    1. dust and deweb anywhere that needs it
    2. Tidy out your handbag/s
    3. Empty ALL the bins in the house!
    Weekend Wist

    2. shine any mirrors
Not a bad achievement for the week, even if I do say so myself :p

    FINALLY gets on PC
    **wander off to find specs*

I knopw it's rather late my saponificaceous one BUT I have level 3d my room, DD has level 3'd hers too, and has bagged up teddies etc -
it was done before now but Runescape (DS) and making a proper Sunday tea (dinner) and visiting gramps took up time (he's had two stents BUT he still won't lend me his drill - we have to wait for a week and HEwill come and put up DD's mirror:rolleyes:

on a sadder not kids have told me that ex MILs brother died on Friday (C) and I knew he was going for tests but nobody updated me.
They were very close so I phoned and she has said I am welcome to go to the funeral. I hadnt planned on doing but this was a man who, despite his divorce maitained a fantastic relationship with his daughter despite the fact that she lived down south...he was very close to his own mother too, before she died and to ex MIL so I can think of lovely things to say about him on a card. I have told the kids (since he was their great uncle) they had better come with me to the funeral if I go)

eta anyone reccommend a vacuum cleaner?

yeah - they're very good for sucking up dirt - much better than a dustpan and brush:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Erm... either you've been drinking, or chocolate has an intoxicating effect on you :p

As for getting 5 stars, do what the rest of us who don't have kids do, and substitute something else (anyway, this week didn't have kids rooms on Friday, so you may find you've done all 5 if you check back!)
