    Happy Birthday Froddy!

I've been for my walk. One load of washing has been done and it on the line. Just need to make lunch, pack my gym bag, have a shower and then wander in to work for my 11am meeting...

Fingers crossed the washing doesn't get too many extra rinses today ;)

Dusty - sorry to read about the black dog. Could you get some hydrogen peroxide and turn it into a white one?

Top idea, he has gone out into the garden for the minute so not bothering me as much but I can still see him.

Dailies done, kitchen sorted, just need to hoover and mop the floor out there.

    Boys have dentist
Need to pop in and visit Mum
Taking Woody to the vet as he is still not 100%

Hope to get something done from my list of 5 later

    Evening all

Vanilla, good news about babe and hubbie and I hope your ring turns up - it's Soappie or Valli who do the pinning the devil thing

Thank you Dusty, i couldn't remember who had said about it.

The shoe box is fine if things stay put. If you're losing stuff, then you need a different solution. I have a tiny safe which I use for my good stuff if I'm either away or have people (whether workmen or people I know well, sad as it may seem) in and out of the house. I also have a hidden drawer. I'm fairly relaxed about it at the moment as I live on my own, but when I shared a house I had to make sure it was secure. The safe is also useful for vital documents... as long as you remember to put them in there :o

Hubby thinks the gas man may have took it as he was the only one in the kitchen by himself, i really hope he's wrong and it's about somewhere.

Basically, get a cushion and a pin, think about what's lost, say out loud three times "I pin the devil" then stick the pin in the cushion (you can remove it afterwards!). And then get on with something else. The lost thing will turn up quite quickly. Spookily, it works for me and my best friend....

Oh thank you soappie, i'm gonna try it now.....
I know it worked really quickly for my necklace last time and my ear rings turned up a few months later too. Fingers crossed it shows up.

Rhys didn't waken until 8.45 this morning.:j:j:j:j It's great..... hopefully he'll keep it up.

Right plan now is cuppa then i'm gonna sort out the paperwork in our room, before i do trip over it. It's all from the kitchen and some was on the windowsill so i'm hoping my ring might be in the middle of it somewhere. I may not return for hours.

    ***Question***
How long do you keep paperwork for?
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
