    My list for this week.
I am not doing Pigpen's daily lists (thanks Pigpen, and I will be returning to the lists after our hols, just want to be realistic in what can be done this week and a half!) but my own which are detailed below. I am still doing the weekly challenge and the MACAW. Thanks Toots for your monitoring of hearts/stars (I will only need hearts this week ;)).

I did thorough S and S's of most rooms yesterday, hoovered, thorough S and S over oven/m-wave and did bins and recycling tub so house is actually starting in a reasonable state. The plan for this week and next (before going away) is maintenance of tidiness rather than anything else. Also finally cleaned out under DH's drawers (could not move them when did the rest of the thorough clean a week back), so am happy there is no dust in there now ;).

Hope all are well, and its lovely and sunny here today, for the opening ceremony of shopping week (which we may take a look at ;)).

Dailies/Bi-weeklies etc (starting Mon 20th July)
    Daily
    1. feed cat: M,
    2. e-mails/surveys/finances: M,
    4. water plants: M,
    5. S and S kitchen:
    6. Air and make bed: M,
    Every 2 days (at least)
    1a. WM:
    1b. HO/U:
    1c. fold and put away:
    Twice per week (at least)
    1. S and lounge and hall (one thorough, one quick):
    2. S and S bedrooms, stairway and landing (one thorough, one quick):
    3. S and S bathroom/downstairs loo (one thorough, one quick):
    4. Hoover downstairs:
    5. Hoover upstairs:
    6. Mop kitchen/downstairs loo/porches:
    7. Empty Bins:
    8. Empty Recycling tub:

    Weekly (at least)
    1. Change bedding:
    2. Wipe over inside of windows:
    3. Wipe over glass (pictures, doors, hi-fi cabinet etc):
    4. Clean out inside of car (and outside as required):
    5. Baking:
    6. Meal planning:
    7. Oven (thorough S and S, so big clean never needed):
    8. Microwave (thorough S and S):
    9. Clean lightweight buggy:
New weekly challenge (wk start 20th July) 1 done so far
    1. Start setting aside clothes for packing:
    2. Post ebay stuff if won/leave feedback:
    3. Take DS to events during ‘Shopping week’:
    4. Meal plan for rest of time before holidays:
    5. Wash outside of windows:
MACAW: Play more with DS as he is growing up fast (perhaps make something!):
I don't match pegs  I do match socks though :o
And for the record, I do match pegs and socks (and pretty much anything else that can be matched).
TBH the most rebellious thing I do these days (now I am a responsible mature *ahem* mother) is mix DS's washing with ours on the line, instead of keeping our washing on one line and his on another! Of course DS washing takes up much more space than ours with all the things he gets up to!
Sad I know, but also strangely contented and happy! DH laughs at me but I have caught him matching pegs too!

I forgot my manners.... :o sorry. :o Thank you Pigpen and Toots for the lists, and crowd control!!! :D

Right, I've just sorted the washing mountain  We ran out of washing powder and what with one thing and another, it didn't get bought. Soooo I have a alarming quantity of washing to do. *sigh*
Anyhoo, one load in, one load drying, and one load folded.
    Children fed, washed and dressed.
DD3 is ON ONE this morning!!!!!!!! waiting for those meds to kick in!

Toots, you're so right about me needing to rest up after the exertions of last week. I'm shattered. I had lunch at Dad's yesterday, and fell fast asleep for about 2 hours on the sofa! :o

Anyway, lots to get on with, so I'll see y'all later. :)

I remember when i lost my good necklace (think this is a habit of mine) someone lovely on here talked about pin the tail on something and it worked but i can't remember who said about it or what the last bit was.

Basically, get a cushion and a pin, think about what's lost, say out loud three times "I pin the devil" then stick the pin in the cushion (you can remove it afterwards!). And then get on with something else. The lost thing will turn up quite quickly. Spookily, it works for me and my best friend....
    Hi

also does anyone know of any free printable housework charts - either that tell you what to do or that you can make your own schedule in

Welcome DollyDD, I've given you a Christmas tree so Piggers and Toots know you're new

    Hi,

Can I join in please... My house is a mess at the moment and as we are having friends staying over next week, I will have to clean my house...
    :xmastree:

And welcome to you too MoneyQ - again you've got a Christmas tree.

    Mornin everyone,

We have sunshine today. We don't appear to have had the rain that was forecast yesterday. Which is a shame as I didn't bother watering the garden! But, I have a washing basket full of stuff so hopefully I'll get that clear today.
