thanks for your replies Julie and Soappie. Glad it was a scheduled stay at the hospital rather than something else.
Had to buy DS and DD some clothes yesterday and most of their clothes seem to have shrunk (honest it is not that my children are actually growing)

Reminds me of when my son was younger. I swear he grew six inches within the space of one summer holiday from school. What fit him at the start of the hols was suddenly at half mast two days before he was due back...Which is why I'm glad I waited until the end of the summer hols to buy the new uniform!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I have finally decluttered my classroom - was there from 8:45 - 3:20 and didn't even stop for lunch. Do I get any stars for clearing and reorganising a large walk in cupboard, 1 filing cabinet, 3 tray cabinets and a double cupboard; filling 5 binbags with rubbish; filling the recycling bin and 2 boxes with stuff to be recycled, and putting countless things in the shared area for others to take if they want?
I now feel like the holiday has actually started :j

2 bouquet wrappers
2 bent BED CASTORS
been to buy ANOTHER PACK OF BED CASTORS firstly to focus where they didn't have them then to B&Q where they did.

shouted at DS
tipped up DS's bed fitted new castor
shouted at DS
replaced bed
shouted at DS

shouted at DS
no it's HIS fault the wall got scraped because if he hadn't broken his bed again I wouldn't have had to tip the flippin' bed up to fix it

painted wall

Jo - more hugs from me, that is a rotten thing to happen, and they handled really badly I think.
I have pottered around today, but have not actually finished anything that could be ticked off a list. I have nearly:
Cleared the hotspot in the kitchen
Emptied out the airing cupboard
Reached the bottom of the laundry bag
etc etc you get the picture.
I did manage to post presents and cards to my niece and nephew, and also buy a few bits in town, as DD and I managed to have the one hour when it wasn't raining.:D
Hope to finish off things tomorrow, so that I can have a few stars and hearts! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
