Hugs Jo - now you need to find out what you're entitled to. I'm now at home tonight so feel free to pm me if you want to chat. Try the redundancy board - they should be able to help you.

  • The horrors, Jo. ACAS will tell you there is a procedure to go through to claim the redundancy pay you are entitled to, and if your company can't pay, then statutory redundancy pay. Hugs.

Oh hun.. I am gutted on your behalf!!!

Something will turn up.. life has a way of throwing these huge challenges at us to test us but there is always something better on the horizon to make up for everything now.

When you get home.. you can apply for most benefits online.. do that straight away and it gets backdated.. everything else can wait until Monday when you can get further advise.

The government will pay redundancy money so you should get something there but it will take time. You may get something from the sale of the business if you are lucky. And, you never know someone might buy it out and give you your jobback... then you can look for a more secure one!

This is a stepping stone to a new chapter in your life.. embrace it!!

    ((((((hugs))))))
