hi all

would love some advice please

i get dla paid weekly and it normaly goes in bank on sunday afternoon and today it hasnt gone in has fridays post strike had anything to do with it not going in bank

    Cant see how the postal strike would have anything to do with it.

    I didnt think most banks accepted money on a Sunday unless done by 'faster payment'.

    I agree with ESA, it may be that the payment has previously shown in your account on a Sunday, but is not officially paid until the Monday. I would check again tomorrow.

    Another possibility - at some point your payment frequency may change, you haven't had a letter to this effect have you?
    Gone ... or have I?

    hello thanx for ur reply i am suppose to have it paid on monday but it normally shows sunday afternoon i havent had a letter from the dla people but i did have to fill in the renewal form and got a letter for that saying i can get dla for another 4 years

    Hopefully it will appear tomorrow but it is also possible that it reverted to 4 weekly payments when it was renewed as that is the preferred timing of payments. Ring them tomorrow if it doesnt appear.

    I suspect there maybe a problem as my son normally gets his family allowance in his account by 12 noon Sunday,this week it isnt(so got a call dad can you lend us £40 lol)
