Children as additional drivers
I'm just getting renewal quotes for my insurance but I'm a bit unclear about filling in the questions. I want to have both my son and daughter as named drivers on my insurance but they actually share another car and it will only be for occasional use/emergencies.
My daughter is the insurer for her car with her brother as a named driver. Last year he had an accident and wrote off the car which has been replaced. When I fill in the details who should I put the accident against? My daughter who holds the insurance or my son who actually had the accident? My daughter has a protected no-claims bonus.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Your son. He's the one who had the collision and would be expected to suffer any insurance consequences as a result.0
