Posting this here, rather than starting a new thresd, i have sold a few items on e-bay recently and the last payment from paypal to say the payment was received said i had to upgrade to have the funds paid into my account, the amount received is only just over £300 and seems a bit low to have to upgrade, and if i do have to do so, what are the fees involved?
Do you mean going from a personal to a premier account. If so you cant except credit card payments with a basic account. But the fees are the same/ Also with a Personal account you are limited to the amount of money you can receive. Its about £500 a month I think (the exact figure escapes me atm)0 -
They call you to confirm your home address - they tell you a code and you type that into a page on your account. It's a matter of clicking a button to activate and they call you immediately, so you can do it whenever suits you. Mine 'failed' for some reason so they sent the code in a letter instead, which took almost 3 weeks to arrive, so you might want to start it sooner rather than later, just in case.
Sound advice as the exact same happened to me.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -

I've never heard of that and how would they check a photo if it is all done remotely?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I lifted my limit last year but today found out I have been limited again?
Made a small purchase yesterday through paypal, a remote that cost just £12. Today I tried to order a new jacket and I get informed that the payment cant be processed because I have hit my £1900 limit on my account. Now it asks me to lift it again but when I go to do it it states that all criteria has been ticked and fulfilled. Despite this it is still saying that I need to lift it?
What is going on? Been back and forth with paypal today and just get the same generic responses. I'm very unhappy right now.0
