Motorcycle textile jeans

Does anyone know of any motorcycle clothing retailers that have sales on at the moment?

I am looking for a new pair of textile jeans but sales and offers sem to be pretty low on the ground this time of year so i would appreciate the help in tracking some down. I am looking at the frank thomas range of textiles ideally but would consider most ranges.

Thanks

By jeans do you mean Denim? If so then both Draggin and Giali can be easily persuaded to give you 10% discount on their kevlar lined denim motorcycle jeans.

If you mean textile as in cordura etc then I haven't seen any special offers. I do personally think that Hein Gericke are better value than Frank Thomas. Have you looked at M&P and Busters Accessories? Both tend to have pretty good online offers for motorcycle clothing.

I have to confess that I'm a leather man myself. I may wear a fabric jacket in the winter but I always wear leather trousers on the bike regardless of the time of year. Just put a pair of waterproof hiking trousers over the top if it threatens to rain.

im really looking for a pair that is large enough that i can wear over jeans/work trousers and hein gerike seem to be fairly snug in the legs no matter what size it is. i was aiming for textile as they seem to be more genourously cut than leather.

you just missed some cheap ones in lidl a couple of weeks ago (i heard the quality was pretty decent too). really though with motorcycle gear the fit is crucial, you don't want knee pads half way down your shins or whatever so you are best just trawling your local bike shops and trying out everything. i am normally a big hein gericke fan but just could not find a pair of trousers in there that fitted properly. i ended up having to pay through the nose for some belstaff trousers but at least i know they fit properly and will not let me down in the event of an accident by riding up or the armour moving around.

i suppose what you could do is try them on in a local shop then see if you can find the exact same size and model cheaper online.
