Please can anyone help me add courier to my listing?

Hi,
I have spent the last hour looking through the eBay help and community boards and also on MSE so apologies if I am just being thick here!
I'm trying to list an item that I want to send by 'Other 48hr courier'.
I have chosen the 'Flat:Same to all buyers' as I am only sending within the UK.
It's not being accepted and keeps showing 'Please enter a valid postage insurance cost' in red.
The parcel is insured up to £50 with the carrier so I changed the option to 'included in packaging and handling' but it's still not accepting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated before I waste all day trying to list 1 item.
