Bit of a vent, sorry!
Just tried an on-line quote from the Co-Op insurance (car) and got to the bit where I had to put in about the minor speeding offence I have. The choices are from a drop-down list. I select the offence code and complete the rest of the page and submit. The page refreshes with the box highlighted and the error message saying 'Offence not recognised'!! It was from a list of THEIR choices!! Agghh!
So having been unbale to proceed, I tried to e-mail them to say their website has a glitch. Not one e-mail address for customer services, it is all phone based......:mad:
Honestly, 2009 and major companies STILL do not undertsand how to make an easy to use website. Is it that hard?

Hi Dave,
I was referring to your user name.....0 -
That makes more sense then! I doubt it. The pattern is, good manager at Spurs = no money. Bad manager at Spurs = spending spree on rubbish euro-'talent'......:rolleyes:0

Good grief!
Crazily, the guy that designed it offers a website design service and has links to other sites he's [STRIKE]butchered[/STRIKE] designed!
Martin needs him to give this site a re-jig I reckon.....0 -
As a multimedia graduate I can honestly say that is the WORST website design I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot of dodgy websites!)
The website of a hair salon near me amuses me in that the image they portray on the site screams something more sinister than simply hair services (I'd love to know if they realised this or not!):rotfl:Click here to see what I mean - http://www.harleyjohair.co.uk/meet_the_team.htm"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" Ha ha. I see what you mean.
Web design by " Easy-web-sites " apparently!
"We take pleasure in seeing our customers filled with joy after their beauty treatments"..:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
