Help - Bought computer off E-bay

Hi Everyone,
I bought an emac from e-bay this afternoon, collected it (was working fine when shown at sellers house) Bought it home, has been running fine for 2 hours, left favourable feedback - now it's over heating and refuses to boot up. problem is e-bayer had no refunds in the description (he did say it was working though) any ideas how I should handle it? Do I go back and try and get my money back? or do I just chalk it up to experience and bin the blasted thing?

Did you pay by cash on collection or through PayPal?
Also did you contact the seller with the problem?0 -
How much did you pay? If it was a decent amount and you believe that the seller has misled you then you could go down the small claims court route. £30 I think.
You could always contact the seller and see if they will refund as it was soo soon.
Also there is a know issue with eMacs and bad capacitors might be worth checking them. linkThe only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
