Worst savings accounts should have a list

Hi,

I don't know if this already exists on the site. ( I have used the search facility to search but nothing came up)

All the worst and poorest paying accounts should have a list so people can see what they are actually getting at the moment. This would cause people to think and try to change to get a better paying account. I know the best savings rate are published on this site.

It would be good to name and shame the banks offering them and consquently stimulate competition? Just a thought!

Nice idea, but there's some crossover between accounts - for example there are current accounts with better rates than plenty of savings accounts.

I'm sure there are plenty at 0.2% or similar - how many ridiculously low accounts do you include on the list?

If you go to our savings account guide, and scroll down to the section called "Ensure your savings aren't losings...", there is a drop down section when you click on "view the full list":
