Budget Insurance: new quote
digital
I've currently got Landlord's Insurance with Budget. The cost last year was £155. The renewal is £423!
If I try to get a quote as a new customer it recognises my details and won't let me go any further into the quote process.
If I get a quote using a different name and for the house next door the cost is £160.
Anyone got any ideas on how I can circumvent this new/existing customer nonsense?

Have you had any claims?
The obvious solution would be to simply just get a quote from another company, there are many many companies that are falling over themselves for landlords insurance so its a competitive market.
You would probably get better cover and service than your would from Budget0 -

Already done that and Budget come out cheapest by a long way. Hence my question. The obvious solution would be to simply just get a quote from another company, there are many many companies that are falling over themselves for landlords insurance so its a competitive market.
Cover and service to date have been fine. You would probably get better cover and service than your would from Budgetdigital0 -
Get some quotes from elsewhere then phone up Budget and ask if they could match/beat the competitor's quotes.0
