I hate Grout !!

Grout whitener needs to be reapplied as and when, just like oven cleaner. The significant difference is that whitener paints over the muck - oven cleaner shifts it..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
I sprayed oven cleaner on mine and left it for about 15 mins (make sure you open the window!) Then scrubbed at the grout with a old toothbrush. That cleaned the grout better than any of these fancy cleaners which claim to clean your grout. The oven cleaner cost me about £2 i think. It was a spray on one, which produces foam.
Thank you all so much for all your replies :j, i have some of the oven cleaner left.....guess what i'm doing this afternoon , glad to know it's not only me that hates grout !!0 -
I'm in the process of looking at a new kitchen, and looking at glass splashbacks - as would be so much easier to clean. And next time a bathroom needs redoing, I'm going for the biggest tiles possible covering only the minimum that needs tiles (shower and sink area) so less grout needs cleaning. I'm glad I'm not the only one for whom grout is a bug bear!0

Don't buy grout whitener in a tube as it's basically just thin grout and takes forever to do. You can buy grout whitener pens on eBay much cheaper than the DIY sheds, it's quick to do and the results last ages.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
