OMG just realised - DLA renewal

As reported earlier I was successful in my renewal :j but although I HAD read
the accompanying leaflet - I JUST realised to my horror they have sent me the
one that is Notes for people NOT getting DLA - where they should have sent me
the one for people getting DLA as they stated in my letter.
I am now panicking that if they sent me the leaflet for people NOT getting it is
my letter right ? I'm sure it is and that someone just picked up the wrong
leaflet and inserted. Anyone know what the reference number of the leaflet
for people getting DLA is ?
The one I have is DLA96 from October 2008 Notes for people not getting
Disability Living Allowance. What is the number of the one I should have had ?
I cant find it online here ? Can anyone help ?

PLEASE don't panic!
If you have a letter with your name on it, saying that you have been awarded DLA , then the leaflet is just a mistake.
Give DLA a ring on Monday and ask them to send the right leaflet out. Depending on what component(s) you got and at what level, you may be entitled to other things - free car tax with HRM, for example. So it is worth making sure they send you the information applicable to your award.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Thank you, the letter is mine, my name, my NI number, my condition etc, so I'm "pretty" sure that the leaflet is a mistake. I will ring them Monday but it has slightly taken the edge off, but thanks for your lovely big red words LOL - thankyou. I've just got LRM which is all I wanted and could hope for so dont think I'm entitled to any other benefits but would like the right leaflet anyway.
I'm just scared to ring incase they say the letter is a mistake but I cant see that happening.0 -
Ladybelle, they're useless at enclosing the right leaflets, with IB and IS they just send you them ALL with like, every letter :P Please don't worry!0

I'm not going to worry. The letter is mine so that is all that matters0

buy yourself a little treat when the back pay arrives to make up for the worry!:j this money saving is such fun:T0

Don't worry (easy to say!) but they are generally useless! I'm still waiting for my original knock back letter from 2007!!!
The letter is right so theres no going back!0
