We are off to Florida with the kids!!! We have booked 12 nights in orlando then 5 nights on the gulf coast!!
As it is not really a honeymoon as we have the kids with us we have invited my Dad and Sister to come along as well, lol!!!
My hubby to be jokes he must be the only man alive taking his in-laws on honeymoon with him!!!
  • im hoping to wrangle australia. ive been twice and i love it and have stayed with my aunt and uncle which makes it affordable! wont be having a honeymoon straight after the wedding because of oh's job. so will probably be going about 5 months after the wedding and having a holiday of a lifetime. 2K for the flights - emirates economy, and then 3K spending money to allow us to go to the opera house, hunter's wine valley and the blue mountains and to allow me to climb the harbour bridge at least twice whilst im there as i want to do a morning climb and a night climb.

i can do it for 2k for myself so 5K for both of us seems reasonable for a month especially as my aunt and uncle dont charge room and board. just the odd grocery shop and babysitting in return.
Debt free 3 years early :j
Savings for house deposit - very healthy

Cash back earnt so far £14.57

We're not sure, we're going to Budapest a month before as we had this booked from the free Jet2 flights offer already, and then I think we're going to wait until September to go away properly otherwise all our holidays will be in the first half of the year! Hoping to use Clubcard deals or Airmiles so it really depends what we can get there.

  • We're not even sure we can afford a honeymoon at the moment - if we can manage it, we've found a two bedroom cottage on the grounds of Rievaulx Abbey in Yorkshire that's not too expensive and we can hole up there for a week and just relax and enjoy being together.
The scenery is amazing, and being Feb it will likely be snowing! Yay!!
Neither Jay or myself are hot weather people, so we're more keen on log fires and good wine, than sunburn and margaritas. lol

We haven't booked any where yet. But are thinking of Florida / keys or caribbean somewhere. Once in a lifetime thing. First time we will have been away together just the 2 of us.First time I will have flown long distance! (Over 3 hours) :-s

Woo Hoo!! Have now been engaged for 5 days!! Although have been together for 6 1/2 years. We were thinking of going to Florence for holiday later this year, off peak as will be cheaper. Wedding is at the end of October, so only 3 and a bit months to organise, but we're keeping it simple. The only difference with it now being honeymoon will be staying in a hotel rather than a youth hostel which we usually do, although privat room not dorm room.
