'View first unread'...where's it gone?

Hi, when I revisted a thread, there used to be a link in bold, saying 'view first unread', that would take me to the first unread post in the thread.
Have MSE got rid of this function or is it my CP settings?
I am using IE7, have logged in and ticked the 'remember me' box. When I close my browser or switch my laptop off I am still logged in.
But...I was permanently logged in before and the option to view first unread was there
Any tips please?

What about the "View First Unread" button
next to the views heading?

I am sure it used to say 'view first unread' instead of being a tick. Unless I'm confusing it with HUKD site?0
