NPower the cheapest, but is it?
I have just done a comparison for gas and electricity and it came out with NPower as the cheapest, saying I could save £410 per year. Now, do I believe this? Have read some horror stories on here about switching and then people not getting the savings promised. Has anybody changed to NPower and, more importantly, are they any good?
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

You are probably looking at Sign-On-Line 4 tarriff.
Recently Npower increased all their prices expect SOL4.
Now I'm being cynical but something tells me that they are keeping the price down to get people in from the comparison sites and then they are going to increase later.
However it may be 6 months time and who knows I might be wrong.
£410 sounds like an excellent savings so perhaps you should consider it.
My savings are much smaller so I'm hanging fire.
In your posistion I think I'd switch (but check the calculations are right first - there have been plenty of problems with out of date comparison sites).
Also if you have a new house there may be an extra fee for your Non-transco pipelines. This is difficult to find out about.0
