Hi,
My RBS Credit Card payment is due tomorrow 19th so I made a payment through Natwest yesterday at at 11.40pm. It said the payment will go through FP and reach the payee within 2 hours.
My RBS account still not updated with the payment. How does it take?
Thanks
MS

In theory, transfers covered by the faster payments system are instantaneous or, if not instant, should happen within two hours but, IME, the system doesn't operate 24/7 even between accounts held by participating banks like RBS and NatWest. My RBS Credit Card payment is due tomorrow 19th, so I made a payment through Natwest yesterday at 11.40pm. To be on the safe side, you should allow 4-5 working days (depending on your method of payment) for funds to be credited to your RBS card account. The exact time required is shown on monthly statements.
Might be an idea to set up a direct debit to pay the minimum amount. That way, it's RBS's responsibility, not yours, to make sure the monthly repayments get there on time
