When I subscribed to this offer months ago I only had £1 debited from my account, when I queried this and said it should have been £5 they said the offer had never existed and then backtracked when I said I had taken a printout of the confirmation and they had run out of stock and wouldn't get any more in. This was a good five weeks ago now so I would perhaps check it out before they charge you anymore.

I'm still waiting on the Elle Body Shop set. I emailed them at the end of Sept to enquire about it and they said they'd hoped to send it out within 28 working days. Well, that's past now and still no sign of the gift.

It's getting pretty frustrating having to keep chasing them up about these things. I ordered really early, so you have to wonder. Really, if they don't have enough stock they shouldn't continue to accept orders.

I got the same reply from them when I emailed. Will give them another week or so and then will chase it up again. Totally agree thats its a pain in the bum

I've searched for an answer to these ones, but not found anything satisfactory yet - someone please help!:

1. The 6 issues of Red for £1 offer states that the minimum term is 12 months, and a further £17 will be charged after the first 6 issues. Will I be OK to cancel the Direct Debit with my bank? If so, after how many issues? And what of those shock tales of mag companies reactivating the direct debit after you've cancelled it?!?!

2. The Free gifts with Nuts, Loaded etc say they have the right to ask for the gift back if you cancel after the first 3 issues (for £1) - which I obviously plan to do. Can they force me to send the gift back (and pay postage?!) or pay them for it, even when I've cancelled the Direct Debit with my bank?

Sorry for the wordiness, but these clause's are ruining my fun! Thanks in advance,
