Took my free Billybag to town yesterday and picked up 12 Christmas bargains for my niece and nephews from The Works (books and craft kits) for £1.15 and the all fitted in the bag!

You say don't kill the magazine industry, what about the small local independant newsagents? The magazine companies use the shops to display and promote their mags and then offer unbeatable subscriptions, therefore stealing the custom from the shop. I used to own a newsagents and its bad enough the large stores, petrol stations etc... trying to take your business, but the magazine companies doing it is unforgivable so I say beat them at their own game and keep getting the free copies hopefully that way they may stop subscriptions altogether and save small businesses.
