I take it this also affects Cahoot Online Savers Introductory accounts opened between 24 June and 1st September 2004 originally at 5.65%, reduced to 5.3% and then 5%?0

I'd say so yes, sadly.
As stated above, there is no longer any benefit in the introductory rate account (and if they do increase the interest rate later in the year, I doubt it'll go up more than the normal account), so I think I'll move a lot of my money to my introductory rate A&L Online Saver, then move it back to Cahoot if the rate does increase considerably!
Cheers

Bradford and Bingley are offering internet savings account @ 4.85% but I have a nasty feeling that it won't be for long now that Cahoot rate is down.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0

I've had the email, and it doesn't mention the 'introductory account' in mine.
I have just spoken to Cahoot, and they tell me that it doesn't apply to the introductory account that was available in 2004 ..... - Although they do often give out incorrect information...
Thanks

Just spoken to someone else who tells me it DOES apply
Anyone else had any luck getting correct info from them ?
I've sent them an e-mail to ask them.
Thanks

I have an ordinary savings account and the introductory one - received the 30th March email about the ordinary account, but nothing (yet?) for the other one.0
