    Hi,

Im a FTB, the seller is in a chain. I got the offer accepted on 19th July, and im now signing the mortgage deed to be sent off to the solicitor and have paid today for the drainage searches etc to be done. My mortgage advisor is going to speak with the sellers EA to conf if shes got another house etc, but I was told by my mortgage advisor that I could possibily have my house by the end of this month. All in all, quite quick!

we accepted an offer 13 weeks ago and wanted a quick sale ha ha ha. We are just selling and moving out, to speed things up, or so we thought.

We have been ready for months, the buyer has their mortgage and surveys done, but the useless solicitor - theirs, seems to want to take forever. What is so frustrating is that you cannot seem to speed them up, no amount of chasing makes them move faster and no-one has ever said if there is a problem causing the delay.

I have aged 20 years in 3 months.
me too it is a nightmare:(

My partner and I put an offer in on a house 6 weeks ago and we are moving in tomorrow.
The seller is not living there and our neighbours are buying our house for cash, so we are almost chain free.
We only exchanged yesterday, but 6 weeks is definitely do-able, maybe quicker.
    But always expect the unexpected!
Finally, debt free for the first time since I was 18!:D

Im a FTB and my offer was accepted at the end of April, the seller is buying a house from his friend, not sure where the friend is going.

Its STILL GOING ON but hoping to complete end of August.

I feel so stressed about the whole thing. I keep thinking am I getting the right flat? Ive started looking at Rightmove to reassure myself that all the other flats are pokey compared to the one Im buying. AAAAARRRGH!!!

    Sorry rant over
