Sound Driver - Wot Sound Driver!

Options
 A friend of mine has managed to delete her sound driver from what I can ascertain.

she has a new system, straight from PC World - I think, a Packard Bell machine.

Now I can probably find a driver online and help her load that - but how on earth do I know what driver she had - or that will work for her system - any ideas?

Help appreciated.

find out what machine she has
    then go onto packardbell.co.uk
    then suppoort
    choose the correct machine
and will give details of the soundcard
