Bidder wants to pay cash on collection.

Auction still running, I haven't put collection down as an option because as a new seller I have to offer paypal so I was going to use a courier with signature on delivery.
I know that collection can be an issue if people pay by paypal, but if they want to pay cash are there any problems I might not be aware of, other than the person just not showing up?
( I'm selling speakers and am hoping for £60-£70, which is a lot for me.)
Any opinions gratefully received

If your going to let them collect you need cash as paypal can cause problems because you cant prove delivery.

Its wether your comfortable with someone coming around to pick things up. I dont like it personally. But if you are except cash

I have a large, aggressive looking and very vocal dog which makes me a bit happier on the personal collection front, otherwise I probably wouldn't be over keen.

If you are a new seller, the potential buyer may have some reservations over sending you money in the hope they'll get what (they think) they've purchased.

By agreeing to cash on collection, you allow the buyer to inspect and accept the goods before parting with their money. With collection in person, nothing beats cash ... be wary of anyone wishing to pay by paypal when collecting in person.
Cash on collection is within the ebay rules :)

And I have three of those, which is exactly why I wouldn't offer collection-I can't stand the noise everytime someone comes to the front door!:rotfl:
