This was given to me as a small child and was always referred to as 'Lucy Locket". I live in the potteries anyway so could be any of the local manufacturers. I have never seen another one despite looking for years. She has a look of Sylvac about her, but has no markings other than a few numbers on the base.
I would love to finally be able to put a name to her, she has massive sentimental value to me as she was given to me by my late dad.

Please post a pic as I'm intrigued now!
It is a shame that Apprentice Tycoon is no longer on the boards she was a whizz at all china and collectables and often gave me very good pointers about the more obscure stuff I came across.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. For some reason she's shouting 'Scandinavian' to me, not British...??
I may be well off the mark though, I've not seen another like it."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0 -

Thanks Norma. She is strange, quite odd looking really but she has been with me for 32 years now and I love her to bits. She doesnt look 70's to me and I'm wondering if she was made in the 60's and perhaps passed on?0 -
For added info, the number on her base is stamped in and is 30990

I don't know if you have tried this site, but it contains some useful info. You can email them and they will try and identify your item/elusive mark. There is also a link to useful books to help identify objects. You could be really cheeky and ask your library to get a copy for you.
